If you’re reading this, you probably know us as the stock market news monitoring blog. We track sentiment, trends, and events in online chatter, to help you navigate the noise & beat the markets baby. It’s what we do. Because we love you.

And if you didn’t know, a few months ago we launched a website that does the news monitoring in real-time, so you can stay on top of the noisy market news cycle outside of these blog posts (and yes, it’s free).

It was our first attempt at building the Google Trends of stock market news for retail investors. A classic v1.0 — a little rough around the edges, but serviceable. And importantly: you guys really liked the concept. So now, it’s time we made a very special announcement…

WE’RE LAUNCHING BABBL v2.0

That’s right. Version 2. The plan now is basically to build the Google Trends of stock market news.. but on steroids. 💉

It will *major* leap for us, with a completely new UX and early plans to include:

• automatic news event/catalyst detection
• customizable stock news alerts & watchlists
• publisher clickbait scores and stockpicking track records
• intraday news sentiment trends from 10,000’s of sources

Plus *a lot* more. And while we’re in the early stages of development, I just couldn’t hold back from letting you guys know about it. If everything goes according to plan, we expect to have it completed and ready for you by late April.
